Session held behind closed doors as it was solely to establish delegated powers.

1. Proposal to use delegated powers to make decisions during the period of the Corona virus pandemic.

Stewkley Parish Council resolved unanimously:
i) to support the motion to delegate powers for financial decisions to The Chair, Vice Chair and RFO.
ii) to support the motion for the Chair, Vice Chair and RFO to make decisions on behalf of SPC during the period of the Corona Virus Pandemic.
The two motions above are subject to seeking consultation with other parish councillors where possible.

The following statement to be added to SPC standing orders:
Devolved Powers: By resolution of the council, normal standing orders may be suspended, and functions of the Council may be performed by devolving decisions to a committee of three, comprising the Responsible Financial Officer, the Chair and the Vice Chair. In the event of incapacity of one of these members, another councillor will act as a replacement.
