EXHIBITION OF POTENTIAL HOUSING SITES

An exhibition of potential housing sites in the parish is being held at Stewkley Village Hall on Saturday July 15.
The plans on display at the exhibition are the ideas of the landowners and have not been endorsed by the neighbourhood plan steering group.
Thirteen sites are set to be on display at the exhibition which will be open to the public between 10am and 4pm. The neighbourhood plan team hope as many residents as possible will come and share their views.

NEXT STEPS

Following the exhibition and taking into account public comments from the consultation, a site-specific housing policy will be agreed with landowners or their agents, defining the number, type and design of the new homes prior to their inclusion in the final Neighbourhood Plan.

ELSEWHERE IN THE VALE

The following villages are working on their neighbourhood plan:
Aston Abbotts, Aston Clinton, Bierton and Broughton, Chilton, Dinton with Ford and Upton, Drayton Parslow, Edlesborough, Halton, Ivinghoe, Long Crendon, Maids Moreton, Mursley, Newton Longville, Nash, Padbury, Steeple Claydon, Slapton, Stoke Mandeville, Wendover, Weston Turville, Worminghall

THE SITES

Eleven sites were presented to Stewkley Parish Council in May and the council adopted the sites for possible inclusion into the plan.
Development on these sites is planned to be completed within five, 10 and 15 years.

The sites are at:

  • Bletchley Road North side, Bowls Farm, Wing Road East side, Wing
  • Road Orchard, Wing Road West side, Manor Business Park,
  • Haywood Park, Potash Barns and Griffin Field.
